The Sussex Centre for the Study of Corruption (SCSC) Transparency International UK and Clifford Chance are pleased to announce that they will be hosting a conference entitled The Fight Against Corruption this September. Conference participants will analyse what causes corruption what efforts have been made to counteract it, and, most importantly, where does the study and practice of anti-corruption go from here.

We partnered with the University of Sussex to put on a highly successful conference for academics and practitioners. The conference was kindly hosted by Clifford Chance.

Conference participants were given the opportunity to analyse what causes corruption what efforts have been made to counteract it, and, most importantly, to question where the study and practice of anti-corruption go from here.

Speakers came not just from a number of academic disciplines (political science, economics, anthropology), but also from the resources-resources-business community, policy practitioners, and government.

Speakers included Miriam Golden (UCLA), Ian Tyler (CEO, Balfour Beatty), Karina Litvack (F & C Investments), Paul Heywood (University of Nottingham), and Sir Christopher Kelly (Head of Committee on Standards in Public Life) who gave the keynote speech.
