About the Role

Working closely with the Executive Director as part of the Directorate, you will be responsible for providing support to the Executive Director, the Board and other senior staff. A key aspect of the role will be ensuring that the Executive Director’s diary is managed to the highest standards and that the office of the Executive Director presents both internally and externally an attitude of professionalism, efficiency and courtesy. In this role you will:

  • Provide full administrative support to the Executive Director, including diary organisation, travel arrangements and other planning and logistics
  • Ensure and facilitate effective internal communication and coordination flows between the ED, management and senior management team
  • Organise Board and Advisory Council meetings, and help keep members of those bodies well informed and up to date between meeting
  • Help with organising Board Committee meetings if required, taking minutes for those and other meetings as necessary
  • Act as main contact person for the Board, the Advisory Council, and other key contacts of the ED
  • Prepare Board papers under the supervision of the ED and liaise with the Company Secretary on governance issues
  • Be a point of contact responsible for visitors to TI-UK, both internal within the TI movement and external stakeholders, ensuring they are proactively engaged, and helping to reinforce relationships with them
  • Undertake other administrative tasks as requested by the Executive Director such as helping organise events or take minutes at meetings
  • Be able to operate confidentially where the role requires.

 

ABOUT YOU 

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have experience of working in a similar role or be able to demonstrate a clear aptitude for such a role
  • Be able to undertake a wide variety of tasks, often simultaneously, such as organising meetings and events
  • Be fluent in English and have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Have good computer skills, particularly with Microsoft 365 Office and ideally with Salesforce
  • Be mature with a responsible attitude, and an ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Be able to act with confidentiality when required
  • Have a professional qualification or extensive practical experience in business administration or another relevant field
  • Have no restrictions on right to work in the UK.
